Boulder Improv:
I have a group looking to do a FLASH-FREEZE December 4th, 16th Street Mall, Denver. More details when available. Here is an explanation about the background of the event:
I am starting a group at CSU named Old Town Miracles, which is a part of the larger '16th Street Miracles' that some friends and I are getting going.
The goal of 16th Street Miracles is to kick start and spread an epidemic of KINDNESS across our country by inspiring the local, regional, and national community to engage in SPONTANEOUS ACTS of generosity and goodwill, work together with those living in poverty to alter the general public belief that the less fortunate do not have anything to give back or contribute to society, and ultimately, transform lives. We would like to accomplish this by performing flash mob-type performances, and other pranks/ street performances where we would surprise the public with sweeping acts of kindness.
This all started after a couple friends started playing the bongo drums with a houseless man named Nick on the 16th Street Mall. Like any street performance worth its salt people began to flock around and donate money to Nick, and inspire my cadet friends to organize the university leadership programs in the state to begin this kindness epidemic.
I bring this to you because I want to do some amazing, fun, events, and want to spread this as far as possible. Please look up 16th Street Miracles on Facebook.
