Here's our fourth mission, can we make this work?
Email your friends of all ages.

Performance Art - Slow-Mo Fun Sports Day
Tagline: Why should it be the kids who have all the fun?...
Host: Dublin Improv Movement
Time, Date and Place:
Time: 2pm
Date: Saturday 10th May 2008
Location: Henry St., Dublin 1 (near the Butlers Chocolates Cafe beside the Spire).
City/Town: Dublin, Ireland

Description: Performance Art:
We need as many people (all agents, their friends, family and any other randomers) to gather together at the O'Connell Street end of Henry Street at 2pm exactly. Don't hang around that spot for too long before-hand, wait around O'Connell St., elsewhere on Henry St., etc (just don't congragate for too long in the one spot at the meeting-point).
Look sporty. If you can, use the "11850 men" as inspiration wearing vests, shorts, sweat-bands, etc., or track-suit or whatever else you like.
Bring a desert-spoon and an egg (hard-boiled preferably). If you can't get a boiled-egg, a raw (not boiled) potato, or kiwi will do.
At 2pm exactly, we will start running with spoons and eggs out-stretched before us IN SLOW MOTION down Henry Street, all the way to the junction of Jervis Street, where we will cross over to the little park to have the prize-giving ceremony. It should take around twenty to "run" the distance.
In the meantime, we'll have a finishing-line always no more than 10metres ahead of the head of the . race, so as to let randomers know that we're coming

There's plenty of amenities at the end of the race, such as McDonalds, The Church (pub & restaurant), Cineworld cinema, and many other fine eateries, etc., to help you in the warm-down and replenish all that energy expended.

IMPORTANT INFO REGARDING THE FUN-RUN
Logistics
1. Do come early, but do not congregate at the meeting point, just be sure to be at the O'Connell Street end of Henry Street, Dublin 1, for 2pm.

2. Do synchronise your watch, mobile or alarm clock to the clock above the main door of Cleary's Department Store on O'Connell Street.

4. When "running", really exaggerate it. To you, this is the most important egg-and-spoon race of your life. Make it look like it is.

5. The "race" will begin adjacent to Butlers Chocolate Cafe at exactly 2pm and should finish at Jervis Street adjacent to McDonalds at 2:20pm.

6. In order to comply with the Criminal Justice (Public Order) Act, 1994, we can't block the footpaths on either side of the "road" on Henry Street. "Run" down the middle of the street", not on the sides in-front of the shops. Don't cause a hinderance to other pedestrians along the sides. If vehicles (cash-vans, unmarked/marked Garda vehicles, ambulances, etc.) want to pass, make room.

7. This should be fun. Enjoy it. Talk to eachother, talk to passers-by. You'll be running in slow-motion, so you'll have plenty of time to chat along the way.
8. We need some (ONE OR TWO) volunteers to record this on video. Contact us beforehand if you're willing to do this. Everyone else needs to be in the "run".

9. IF IT RAINS THE FUN RUN IS STILL ON. It will look amazing even with 50 people being soaked in the rain. …O and Enjoy….

Hi guys and girls!

I was thinking of doing a "Welcome Back!" in Dublin Airport on the last weekend of January.

Any one in? Anyone have any ideas about it?

Thanks, Paul.

Thats sounds good

I think it should be a weekend for soo many reason. We're mostly off work/college/school and there'll be more people there to witness it.
