Hey everyone! new to the group used to be very active in the one in Boston but I have moved.  I was pretty involved in my other group so if you guys needed help for ideas etc I can throw around some stuff that we have done as long as I get some other people who want to do with :)

first friday flash mob at 3rd street downtown.

practice will be at 7pm behind the lady luck. flash mob will be at 7:30-8 listen for super bass...immidietly after Katy perry's last friday night will come on.

Katy Perry- Last Friday Night.

I will be sending out an edited version of the song so you are able to practice with it.

Here is the sequence of cues during the flash mob:

00:01 sec. We will have 2 people acting intoxicated. Flipping her hair and acting obnoxiously drunk.

When the chorus comes in ..."Last Friday Night..."

The 8 counts start at the word "night".

Right before the T.G.I.F" chants starts in the song. We start chanting it and while doing so we start forming a big circle.

During the missy elliot portion of the song thats when people are able to jump in and freestyle.

When the chours starts up again we start the 8 count choreography at the word "night"

After the spirit fingers Just nonchellantly walk off and pretusnd nothing happened. Resume what you were doing previous to the flash mob.

HOpefully we have a suffesful flash mob. Learn it and teach it to a few friends the more the better : )

First Friday Flash Mob:

When: Friday September 2, 2011

Time: Between 6pm-9pm. Exact Time TBD closer to event date.

Song: Katy Perry- Last Friday Night

Where: Downtown Las Vegas on 3rd street and Ogden. During First Friday Block Party.

Attire: Nerdy (kinda like the music video) ie: suspenders, glasses..

Rehearsal dates: all this weekend and next week.

 

Choreography also will be posted tomorrow on youtube with the song and a tutorial.

 

The goal is to get 50+ people to do the flash mob by the end of the song :).
