since people like to add 'hey I like your idea, how about this one' to existing threads, why don't we have a master brainstorm thead... so here it is. ideas for missions discussed, chewed, mulled, spit and perhaps even considered.

when thinking about a mission we should consider all angles, the action, the reaction and the documentation. we should ask the questions: does it move me, is it fun, or simply funny, will it cause a spectator to question breadth of his or her existence? let's consider the lasting impact of gurilla improv upon the LA landscape.

I had an idea today; it's a spin on one of the classic Improv Everywhere missions, but I think it's a brilliant one. You know hte one where a whole bunch of people put on matching blue polo shirts and khaki pants, and then go stand in Best Buy looking like employees? Wouldn't it be funny to do that with kids? Picture a few dozen 10-year-olds, all wearing red polo shirts, standing in Target and looking like they work there.

I think we could do it. Even if you don't have kids, you must know some you can borrow. We can discreetly supervise them from a little distance away while pretending to be shoppers ourselves.

Had this idea at the beach today, but won't tell you what I was doing... Ahh, you can figure it out. The mission is called "Naughty Sand Sculpture Society." The details are in the name. It'd only be really good if as a society, we take it very seriously.

We had a little friendly debate on here a while ago about the cult of Scientology and if they should be pranked or not, if they are a legitimate religion or not, blah blah blah. Guess what. Not only do they use banner ads (unlike other "religions"), but they advertise HERE!! They pranked us. I think we have ourselves a turf war.
