Food Court Auction!

picture this....we bring in a borrowed speaker podium, we include a gavel and the wooden slab. We have an agent dressed up in a tux, we have a microphone (or a megaphone?).

we invade a big food court. every agent is randomly seated at all the food court chairs (try to blend in as much as possible- so having a drink or frap or latte would be perfect). And for every agent is an auction paddle with a number on it.

then we bring in items to bid on.....(e.g. from Spongebob squarepants dolls, food court trash can, a Hot Dog on a Stick hat, etc)

Ive thought about security. We can have our own security guards (2 of them, side by side of the podium) to make it look authentic.

Yes, I have seen the Food Court musical. IT's one of my faves, that's why Im riding off that idea, cause we already have a captive audience to start.

IT would be great at South Bay Galleria, or Del Amo Mall, Stone Wood has a huge food coart or the WestSide Pavillion.

Nobody is going to stop you, but it needs to be on the calendar. That happens at the meetings, also it is refined to make it really cool.

This would be great at the Westfield Mall in Century City. During the summer time on Wednesday nights the food court is super packed because of the free movie that the mall shows.

It's not currently on the calendar as far as I remember from the last meeting, but it was discussed a little bit. I think it could happen if Lis gets it going at a meeting. Everyone seemed to think it was a good idea.
