Supermarket Ballroom

This prank is called SUPERMARKET BALLROOM. A large group of agents (all wearing their most debonair formalwear) are paired off into couples and walk into a supermarket when it's at its busiest. The supermarket's PA system is hijacked, and romantic classics are played (Johnny Mathis's "Chances Are", Henry Mancini's "Moon River", etc.) while the couples slow dance as if the supermarket is the most romantic place on the planet. I know someone who works at the Albertson's on Hillhurst by Los Feliz, and I'm thinking I might be able to get him to hook into the PA system. I've had a bunch of responses to this already, and I'm looking for agents who are seriously interested in taking part in this. Email me at hooligandave@earthlink.net.

He said that they don't really have control of the sound system, but he would put me in touch with the manager. How bout instead of dancing in the supermarket, we all come in as ourselves (whatever clothes you want, definitely casual i.e. jeans, sneakers) and we all get call each other up at the same time, there will be a massive, in sync ringing of cell phones (of course, it would be nice if we all have the same ringtone). Anyways, we all call each other up and speak on different aisles as all the other shoppers look in disbelief at so many people on their cellphones at the same time, talking about the same thing (e.g. a popular topic or something funny & controversial).

Or- as we're all talking, we're all talking about the same thing and looking for the same thing, then we all form a line to the manager's counter and ask him/her about something (e.g. something ridiculous- could be an item or a person?)

Or- here's a totally different idea, we can have a party going on inside the supermarket, but it's a silent auction party.....an agent will dress up in a tux and will be handing out a program to every non-agent that walks in the supermarket. There will be a bidding going on. Every agent will be carrying a ping pong paddle or a makeshift paddle (similar to an actual auction's paddle) to use.
