..Sorry I haven't been around much.. Life is busy. But I will bring my Banana on the 27th. And I'll try prevent Twitch from going out of town..
Post battle coffee?
Oh So Good is exactly that.. in the market.. but that's a bit far.. there's a timmies on rideau street, but the seating isn't that great... There's a Second Cup, and a Starbucks at Metcalf and Slater which is similarly far as Oh So Good.. but maybe less complicated to get to..

Whipped up a facebook event for the banana gun. all is explained there-in.
date is Sunday, december 27th, event starts at 2, so be there earlier and loitering. No initial sigal really needed, start paying attention just before 2, start at 2, or whenever other people are starting. imperfect sincronization adds to the affect. there's the ten second window for standing off anyways.

any comments or complaints, and i'll change it up. Sorry Twitchy about the date.

anyways, thats fixed. Invite and spread the word.

Anyone want to meet up after the fact for a conspiracy meeting? get a ball rolling for another event. It might be a bit chilly for the war memorial. what's the nearest coffee spot that's not inside the rideau centre?

chabzjo, Sorry for my initial negativity, I'm liking the dress alike idea the more i think about. It's tried and tested, but we need a twist.

Hey it's been sort of a while since I've been on and i am sort of confused as to what ideas and plans are being conjured. Can a well informed person summarize plans real quick for me? please and thank you.

Hey, I'm game for whatever.
I was also thinking that we should have a really public gag to recruit people where we think of something simple and funny that a ton of people could do and make an event on facebook about it and invite everyone we know just so more people can be aware that we do exist and possibly participate in any future events we plan. JUST SAYIN. What do you guys think?

I'm lurking, but I'm not a fan of the idea of pretend guns. Also, it's too different from what the IE group does in New York.

I'd love to participate in a prank where we'll make people laugh (instead of potentially scaring them), and where we could pretend that we didn't plan for each of us to show up at the same time and place.

Like, for example, we could all dress the same way, like get some reindeer headbands from the dollar store (or something really obvious like that, as long as it's not expensive) and all have a red sweater with blue jeans and a scarf and walk around the mall pretending to shop. We make sure we're all sitting down in the food court for a pop or fries between 2:15 and 2:30, then we all go back to shopping for a while and we all leave. We act like we don't know each other and if people ask we pretend not to realize we're not the only one dressed like that.

* if people show up in groups, it wouldn't look as "fake" that they decide to stop by the food court for a pop. I'm thinking we aim for groups of 1, 2 or 3 people. Groups of 4 can split up, pretend they don't know each other, and meet up later.

....Would that leave enough time to gather enough people for this?
Twitchy Comment by Twitchy on December 1, 2009 at 6:32pm
i think this idea sounds really fun except i most likely won't be in town on the 27th and i don't know if i will be back on the 28th or 29th.
