Japanese High Five Escalator 大阪ハイタッチエスカレーター
The Japanese work really long hard hours and most people are not excited to go to work, so we decided to help people start off their day with a smile and a high five. Bill Reilly of the Pirates of the Dotombori gave out hundreds of high fives by standing next to a subway escalator during the morning rush. Five additional people spread out along the adjacent stairs, holding signs that prepared commuters for the upcoming high five fun. Our signs together said in Japanese, Bill wants to give you a high five! Get Ready! There was a fifth sign that just read Bill and had an arrow pointing downward. Our volunteers grabbed their assigned signs and spread out along the stairs a little after 8:00 AM in Shinsaibashi station in Osaka Japan. 日本人は大変長い時間を働いて、多くの人は仕事へ行くのは楽しんでいないので、僕たち はちょっと彼らをその一日をスマイルとハイタッチで始まるために手伝うことにしました 。パイレーツ・オブ・ザ・道頓堀のビル・レーリーは朝のラッシュアワーに心斎橋のある エスカレータの横に立ってみんなにたくさんのハイタッチをしました。他の５人のメンバ ーは横の階段に広がって通勤の人に看板をみせてハイタッチして楽しんでもらうために準 備していました。看板は日本語で「ビルはあなたにハイタッチしたい、準備して！五番目 の看板は「ビル」だけ書いていて矢印は彼を指していました。８時過ぎに大阪心斎橋の駅 の階段でメンバーはそれぞれの看板を持って階段に沿って立っていました。多くの情報の ために僕たちのウェブサイトをご覧下さい。
We want to than "Improv Everywhere" for doing this first and giving us the idea to do it in Japan. We are the biggest fans of Improv Everywhere.")

Auditions / オーディション
The Pirates of the Dotombori are looking for new members!
We are planning for auditions to be held on Sunday June 14th from 7-9pm.
Prior improv experience is not necessary to audition.
Japanese language is NOT necessary either.
We do encourage Japanese people to audition!!

The Pirates of the Dotombori are a short-form Improv comedy group situated in Kansai. They are putting on a bilingual show in Pure nightclub, Soemon-Cho, Osaka.
We will be having a BILINGUAL (Japanese / English) Improvisational comedy show. We perform improv similar to the TV SHOW "Whose Line is it Anyway?". Come and enjoy the show!

今回は関西国際空港に到着した全く知らない人達を、名前が書かれたポスターや花束、風船、３ｍ程の横断幕で大歓迎します。
ポスターの名前は、当日、空港内の到着ゲートで出向かえに来ている人が持っている名前プレートから選びます。
１５人のボランティアを募集しています。一緒にドッキリ歓迎しませんか？
２月１５日（日）午後１２時 関西国際空港で待ってます。（２、３時間の予定）
TV event! Welcome Strangers to Japan!
On February 15th (sunday) at Noon we will be at the Kansai International Airport. We will personally welcome home total strangers at the KIX airport. We will grab first and last names from car driver signs and then greet those people with personalized posters, flowers, balloons and a 10 foot welcome banner. We need 15 volunteers to join us for a few hours starting at noon at the KIX airport to be part of the welcome group! Wanna join?
