I generally do this on xmas day to get away from the holiday overload. Kind of a depressing time of year for some.

If you want to organize one on the 19th, I'll be up for that, as well!

No one will see you on xmas day... Someone mentioned the 19 that date sounds good. Should be shoppers too..

Ugh, I need to put the keyboard down and do something.... Okay, one last about the santa bike ride, The start is by PGE Park, so everyone can use the MAX to get there, Final stop is downtown, close to the MAX, since there is a some holiday spirits involved at the last stop- using the MAX to get home is strongly advised.
Trust me, it doesn't take much to wipe on on two wheels. not that I know that first hand...

Portland. Bikes. Costumes.

How about a santa bike ride around downtown? Saturday afternoons are great for low-traffic. Maybe Dec 19? I have been doing this on a small scale for a few years and have a really good route going through NW PDX, the Pearl, ChinaTown, waterfront and downtown.

The final stop is a pub downtown to grab a bite and mingle with the mundanes. (people LOVE santas on bikes!) This is a yearly habit for me, if you'd like to join- the more the merrier!

All you need is a santa/ elf/raindeer...etc costume, some wrapped goodies to hand out, I recommend LED battery operated xmas lights to wrap around the bike frame (about $5) -it's a serious blast!!

It seems as though there are no plans at the moment. We need some brainstorming.
First and foremost we need an IDEA.
Second we need people for the idea.
Third we need a place.
Fourth is time.

Ok, So I am new to this site, I have started a small group with the intention of small, friendly stunts at first, leading to larger stunts in the future, all very friendly and fun. Are there existing groups in Portland? Is this a site to find people to be in stunts?

Okay, this weekend would be the optimal time for zombies to go to Zombieland- don't want to do this too close to the Zombie walk. How many would like to do this and which theater? We should notify the cinema so that we don't risk getting denied entry for any reason. This is Monday, so maybe get an RSVP headcount by Wednesday, Possibly do the event Saturday? Any thoughts?
