Break the Silence on TRAX

So, I decided to move this to a more organized discussion. Here, in a nutshell, is what the mission entails.

Step one: A group of pranksters boards TRAX, all headed for the same destination (I think it would be much more effective if we had different groups getting on at different points).
Step two: One or more pranksters starts whistling, humming, or singing a song (Song is yet to be decided)
Step three: Over time, more and more pranksters join in until eventually every prankster (and hopefully some normal everyday people) are whistling, humming, or singing the tune.
Step four: All the pranksters get off the train at the same point and we have left our mark!

So please, lets get this going, let's figure out logistics. Here's a list of a few things that need to be decided:

1. What song? It has to be known and noticeable, possible suggestions are "Don't Stop Believing," and "Circle of Life." Other suggestions are welcome.
2. How loud? The original concept had humming although there is yet to be a decision on if we'll be singing or humming or what. Give some suggestions
3. When? Date and Time, pretty self explanatory.
4. Who? Given the need for multiple pranksters I'm thinking we'll need anywhere from 10 to 20 to make it really noticeable, suggestions on that?
5. Where? Where do we meet? How many groups? Where do we get off the train?

Those are the basic logistic issues I see. Thoughts, opinions? Let's get this one going!

So do we wanna do Christmas songs or other well known songs? Opinions?

I think that we should get on at different stops and then the people who get on at draper start singing at the 3rd stop then every one starts to chime in after 3 stops except for the last 3 stops then they just get on and start singing

What song? I think that those 2 sound good but we would need some more since they are not very long songs and the ride to salt lake from draper is almost an hour ride

How loud? I think that maybe we start at humming then as we get more people and more people that we go to whistling then to singing

When? we need to decide a date

Who? even if we only get 10 of us we would all just get in a specific car of the train

Where? i think that a good idea would be that we get some people spread out through the stops depending on how many people can make it to the prank. I think that what we do is ride all the way to salt lake and make it louder and louder as we go until we get to salt lake then we do the opposite and go back to draper. Or maybe we will all meet at draper and then you are assigned a stop where you start singing that way it starts out quiet then gets louder

Any other sorts of suggestions????

I like it all, I'm thinking we should probably shoot for late December/Early January, January would work best for me, although maybe even just before Christmas, singing Christmas songs would be fun. I am really liking "Don't Stop Believing." But hey, any other suggestions of songs would be welcome. Preferably well known songs, I'd really like other people to get involved that aren't in on the prank. I also agree that just starting with humming and then having someone break out singing would give it a much more spontaneous and unplanned feel. Those are my thoughts.

I think that doing the Christmas songs would be awesome to do since everyone knows most of the christmas songs that way if we did run out of songs then we can just jump to the next well known christmas song. any date and time would be good with me that way i can participate i just need to know when.

Well if we do choose a song would we meet up and see whos going to brust out singing? or kinda have it like a Glee style?

I think that we would need to meet up, maybe a couple of times, before we actually do the prank, to sort of work out how it's gonna work, because this one does require a bit of coordination.

I work 8:30 am to 6pm monday through friday. any other time i'm game for participating. ^_^

Well our Utah trains have different sections with different people so we can hit at least the same train twice i think? but we have to look in too it. We can hit one train going downtown and the other one going south toward draper. We can wait at least one hour and do it again. When were done with both trains we should go somewhere for one or two hours and maybe hit the trains again. What we must be careful is not separating into two different groups and two different trains, we all must hit one train.
