No Pants Subway Ride

Agent Todd asks if SF will be hosting the No Pants Subway ride this year. I say, why not?
NYC has picked Jan 10th, sounds fine to me.

The 2 "factions" meeting up sounds good. Bart would be OK, but because it's not real widespread it would be very quick and not primarily in the city where the maximum exposure could be. The Muni would be good given its size, speed and distance traveled in the city. The facbook group has about 150 ish people (one group) plus the group here. So, two factions, if this group meets in the mission, we can get the facebook group to either 1. do the same and meet there or 2. bring the factions together somewhere downtown or line people up along the route decided upon.

This is going to be rad one way or another; I'm not sure if I'll be able to go or not, but we'll see. Hopefully I will, because that's what I totally want to do on my saturday. Go to the castro with a bunch of people not wearing pants, wooooot! Lol, sounds like a good time to me XD

I think it would be funny if people had their pants on a hanger slung over their back - like they are coming from the dry cleaners.

Here is the plan. After hearing many suggestions I think it is the best collection of ideas.
Meet at 2:00pm (in pants?) at Dalva bar in the mission. The address is 3121 16th St. If you are under 21 you can hang outside for a few minutes. At 2:30pm we'll head to 16th Street BART, ride around for a bit, and get off at Embarcadero. Then we'll take the N into the Castro. At which point we'll be in the Castro pantless and who knows what will happen.
Bring at least $3 for fare. Wear interesting undergarments.

not to be a nitpicker, but you'd want to take a K/L/M or J to the Castro...the N would take you onto the westside (duboce park, cole valley, UCSF, inner sunset/outer sunset).

While I personally think it would be totally rad if y'all came out to our part of town, not everyone digs the westside and the Castro is awesome too. Either way I'll watch this thread and if you all want, give a little free press on the blog. I like it when people do things like this, it's fun and keeps SF lively....

I'm with you on that, Mackenzie. My boyfriend and I aren't bar people and we'll already be BARTing in from Berkeley. Cheapskate that I am, I'd rather hang out by the addfare machines and not go through the gates to save a couple bucks.
