This is just a reminder that tomorrow is the International Talk Like a Pirate Day Bicycle Ride. We meet at 6:30 p.m. at Grant Park in Pasadena. The park is located at 1200 Cordova Ave. in Pasadena (91106). Meet at the corner of Michigan and Cordova.
This is a short ride but along the way we will yell to the crowds/each other some really awesome pirate jokes. It would be awesome if someone had a pirate flag (skulls and crossbones, perhaps) as I had trouble locating one.
Ah yes, please make sure to bring some booty (doubloons, that is) as we are ending our ride at the Old Towne Pub and they only accept cash. Bring a lock and necessary flat repair items (just in case). The pub is close to the Memorial Park Gold Line Station--in case you need a train ride home.

Oh yes, if we get there before 8:30 p.m. we avoid the $5 dollar cover charge so we take off at 7:00 p.m. promptly--more money for grog!!!!

- I'm curious why you think that there's no many active people in the LA area....one of the missions a few months ago had over 200 people show up! People may not participate on the boards, but when they get one of those emails talking about an upcoming mission, they all go if they can. :)

- I think if someone has an idea, then we can discuss it on the board, then have a meeting to discuss exact details right before the actual mission. Does that make sense? Not just a meeting to discuss ideas with strangers (maybe that's the part I don't really like? yeah, that's gotta be it), but a quick meeting an hour or so before an actual mission.

The Principles Behind a Good Scene
Violating the following conventional assumptions always make for good scenes:
1) Nonverbal cues are always believable/true and are never faked. (Only verbal communication is language. Body language doesn't count.)
2) Everything is random and there are no connections or conspiracies, but chance sometimes allows strange coincidences to occur. (Creates intense confusion)
