Recruiting for Tourist Mission (DC Defenestrators)

We will need 6-8 (plus) people to pull this off successfully. So far, I have 2 (if I include myself). I would rather be out adding to the distraction portion of the mission if it calls for it. Please email me at [e-mail] if you are interested.

-Tourist A
-Tourist B
-Construction Worker A
-Construction Worker B
...extras could be used as "pedestrians" to film the mission, and to provide
distractions

Items needed:
-2 touristy-type shirts
-construction gear (hat, gloves, dirty clothes)
-A large piece of ply wood or sheet rock
-Disclaimer forms (which I have)

Location:
-Anywhere in the city where there area lot of people, preferably within the
vicinity of an active or inactive construction site. Even roadwork signage
would work

Action:
-Tourist A and Tourist B need to look subtly different. Maybe both female with
different hair color. The shirts would be identical.

-Tourist A stops an unsuspecting pedestrian (preferably an older couple) and
asks them for directions to a place/attraction in the city. The goal is to get them to both point and look into the direction that they would ultimately be
pointing our Tourist A to. Just as they are looking away, Construction workers
A&B carry a large piece of ply wood and walk in between our Tourist A and the
person(s) giving directions.

-Behind the piece of ply wood follows our Tourist B, (walking secretly behind
the wood. As they pass in between the others, Tourist A walks off, (our
construction workers turn at an angle further down to conceal the swap), and
wallah! Tourist B is standing in her place perfectly timed just as the
person(s) giving directions looks back.

-It might take a few tries, but the reaction could be priceless I'm sure.
Tourist B wouldn't say anything, just stand there like everything is okay.

Notes:
-Getting two people to play along could be tricky..we should start with one
person.
-We could cause a distraction another way to ensure that they are looking away
long enough.
-It would be funny to have our Tourist A find them in passing at some point.
-We could film this and do it throughout a day, get some good footage, and I
could have my guy edit it and start an official library of promotional footage.
-One way to film it would be to have someone on a bench nearby reading a
newspaper. We would want to mic our tourists. I have people that will do this.

-The disclaimers would be necessary to get signed by the folks we trick. We
would want their permission to use the footage. In addition, I think cards,
shirts or hats would really make the whole thing look official to them when we
expose the idea.

So,that's it. I think it can be a really funny mission to pull off...and noone
else has done this. I would like for this to be designated for the
Defenestrators, exclusively.
