Rock, Paper, Scissors Duels

Two people approach each other, both holding a glove in one hand (this is how we know we are agents).

One smacks the other *gently* across the cheek. (Does the other smack back here?)

They both initiate the typical rock, paper, scissors duel preparation (left hand flat in front, right fist on top of left palm).

Initiate the duel (raise fist and tap back down on palm three times while chanting "1, 2, 3"... or "rock, paper, scissors")

Throw a sign (throw rock/fist, paper/flat hand, or scissors/index and middle finger pointing out from fist).

Rock beats scissors, scissors beats paper, paper beats rock (I never understood how paper beats rock!?)

Loser clutches chest, gut, shoulder (your choice) and falls "dead" in a dramatic death rattle. Winner celebrates life with whooping and jumping.

Loser leaves battlefield (can observe from a distance) and winner continues to mingle/wander about until challenged again.

someone suggested having real rock,paper,scissors....good idea as long as the scissors are those blunt kids ones. We dont want anybody to getting hurt..or the police getting involved

Why not use real rocks, real paper, real scissors? Spontaneously, different agents walk up to each other, or bump, or something, and challenge the other to a duel (much like Ender suggested. Standard duel paces and the sort). Tension mounts as they turn and glare at each other, each with their arms ready to pull out their weapon.

"Rock, paper, scissors!" they shout, and each agent pulls their choice from beneath their jacket. "Rock crushes scissors!" To which he grabs the other player's scissors and smashes them on the ground with his rock rather enthusiastically.

Be careful, though, because scissors are pointy (obviously). Don't go throwing that rock around TOO enthusiastically... and avoid paper-cuts.

Each agent should be particularly triumphant when they win, and the other should be particularly downcast and dismayed at their loss. Standard "noooooo!" with arms outstretched and so forth. At least 12 agents should pair up together and do it in a public area, each taking their own area to fight. 6 to 8 groups seems like a nice number--not too many, but not too few. This would have to be done outside, as you don't want to go smashing scissors with rocks on a nice linoleum floor.

Scissors are cheap. So are rocks and paper. ...what say ye?

exactly...concert would be nice...or after the concert around the exit area or hallway or on the streets...

it would be great do this in a crowded event (think concert, school, seminar, etc) where several groups could do it simultaneously

yeah, 2 people isn't enough, it would be better to have like 18 agents just randomly do it at simultaneously and fall have 9 people fall on the floor

A duel between two people is a too small event. Make it a spontaneous duel with 5 or 6 agents to start the chain.

Well, In the case to attract attention, If you were to yell out when you challenged someone, I Challenge you to a duel! Like actually yell it out loud. And its ok for it to look planned, It will surprise people no matter what, but you ust cant have like 5 or 6 people walking around for a half an hour winning duels or else it looks corny. But i think that maybe if at different places across a large park, say 8 or 9 different places all at exactly he same time were to do the duel thing, with the paces and everything. Even have the judge and the doctor, I think the effect would look really really cool
