Yeah, I think Scene Diego is one of the groups setting a great example for other local groups to follow. Cool new name. Cool website that makes it clear it's an independent group inspired by IE. And cool new ideas!
Yeah, SceneDiego is much, much better than worldfreeze.org! Just a note that they are all independent groups inspired by IE! I actually first known SceneDiego than for a quiet a while haven't visited it recently visited it and known IE from SD link!
My point exactly. Missions can't be done over and over. Any groups that are started on this site should be independent and come up with their own original ideas. San Diego has come up with many missions never done before that we are planning for the future. This is what its all about. Be creative. Stand out.
Any official Improv Everywhere mission here in New York will be organized by me through our New York City Mailing List (which you can sign on our website.) The World Freeze thing on April is not official and has nothing to do with us. We have no plans to do any more freezing in NYC any time soon. We've done it. Twice! It was great. Moving on! :)
Yes it is twice, One is in Home Depots and the other in Grand Central. By the way, I have contacted worldfreeze.org regarding too much freezing events and is waiting for a response. I hope this would help you guys out, :)! Moving on IE events in NY/NJ alltime! :)!
We just participated in a Global Freeze on 2/23/08. Freezing is cool and all, but not original. Somebody should come up with an original concept that we can do globally.
If this hasn't been covered or scheduled yet, it should be put into consideration. But if the majority of the group says the original World Freeze took place not long ago and we should wait, that's understandable.
