I'm absolutely not sure if the idea has been there before and I actually don't care either ;)

I was walking by Schwarzenbergplatz yesterday (I think it's called that?) and there is this huge fountain there.
Well, and since it was rather warm, I thought it would probably be very funny to have an event as follows:

At a given time, everybody shows up in normal everyday clothing, walking around the general area until a signal is given, then everybody takes of their clothes and beneath them, they are already wearing their bathing suits .... and maybe have some accessories handy in your bags or bring umbrellas if you can somehow hide them a little and everybody jumps into the pool and we start a pool party :)

It doesn't have to be that fountain, maybe the very high water shooting from the fountain there is a little overpowering or there isn't enough people, not sure, but it would be great to have some place that has a bigger water supply and that isn't too dirty to jump into for at least a few minutes.

Obviously, to avoid having people die horrible horrible deaths from the colds that they might catch when taking part during such an event in winter, it would be wise to wait a little until the weather is warmer ...

What do you think? If you like the idea, which fountains would you see as a possibility? I already thought about Schönbrunn as well, but I am somehow afraid, that the police won't let us be there for very long ... but that is probably one of the places that we would get the most attention ;)

ja... Schönbrunn... da sind die ziemlich streng...wir wurden mal rausgeschmissen weil wir im Wald (halt kennts ihr den Weg zur Gloriette?? da auf den Seiten sind so Bäume... und wir dachten das wär voll gemütlich...) pick-nicken wollten... ^^'
und NEIN wir hatten keine Chipspakerl die wir hätten liegen lassen können (nach 1h kann ich kein Deutsch mehr... fragt nicht... ^^') sonder hatten einen ganz umweltbewussten pick-nick organisiert... hmmm... *bös*

ich würd trotzdem (oder gerade deshalb??) dabei sein... xD

Also .... das mit Schönbrunn find ich echt auch schwierig. Aber wenn da alle dabei wären und sich das trauen bin ichs fix auch :)

Ich fand den ansatz vorhin echt nett, dass es mit ein wenig Glück auch einfach länger dauern könnte ... in Schönbrunn können wir das halt fix vergessen. Aber hätte trotzdem was *g*

Und das Lied ist ja bitte genialst. Wenn es ein Video von der Party gibt muß das Lied fix rein *g*

Also, keine schlechte Idee finde ich ... wobei halt dann immer die Gefahr besteht, dass sich das sehr verliert :-/

wenns ne fixe route ist kann man sich ja bei den spots zusammenfinden. die werden halt allgemein bekannt gegeben (oder so)

und immer wenns uns raushauen oder nach ner zeit oder was weiss ich gehen wir die nächste location abchecken! (oder so)

Es gibt hier diesen RSS-Feed ... also, falls du sowas nutzt? Ich nutz den halt mit Google-Reader .... dort schau ich eigentlich recht oft rein und da stehen mir dann eben neue Beiträge ... sonst hab ich keine gute Idee :-/

just thinking about accessories... rubber duckies/frogs/misc. bath toys... floaties (when you were a kid that you put on your arms to help you float)... inflatable toys... anyone have a palm tree?? :P ooooo i have an inflatable (mini) alligator! :P

Maybe somebody has some kind of easily portable music system? Doesn't have to be too loud, but just something that could let us play some fitting music ;)

I was thinking of some way to have some sand to play around in, but I'm afraid that will be too much work ;)

Snorkeling gear or a scuba suit anybody? ;)

i also think we shouldn't over due it... music WOULD complete the atmosphere, buuut if the kibera/security/some omas don't like it, we should be prepared to exit stage left ;) also making music i believe falls under the menschlicheverletzungsbereich or whatever. If we are just "randomly" all bathing in the fountain, i don't see that we're hurting anybody or anything ;)

I never go anyplace without my towel, especially not to beach parties ;)
