Halifax Improv Scene Kids - first missions

OK folks I have been hanging back - waiting for someone to take the lead - but get the sense everyone else is waiting for the same thing right? lol.

So I would be happy to do it. Is that ok?

The proposal is that the main mission will be on Canada Day July 1.

We would have one or two small trials before that to get organized and drum up more interest. The first two trials might be lame - that's totally OK! It's important to get that done before a major mission with video etc on Canada Day when there will be LOTS and LOTS of people around to take it all in.

I am thinking an MP3 event would be a blast and would have a greater liklihood of great success. (By great success I mean a big number of participants, a big number of "victims/witnesses", and a good video recording to post on Youtube and the main Improve Everywhere site.)

If this sounds ok I will come up with some kind of test mission and choose a date and communicate the plan either in advance by email etc, or maybe it's best to wait until the day of the event and announ ce the instructions personally by voice.

I also don't know about the success of the chess game, seeing as how I'd just been released from the hospital and the doctors told my parents not to let me go.

As long as we all meet to do the same thing it's cool. I went with the name "Halifax's First Ever Human Checkers/Chess Extravaganza". check it out if you want. If we get as many people as are confirmend we should have around 16 but lets aim for more. Wordof mouth or even posters would be great. Posters maybe aiming a bit too high but I'm just thinking we need to keep the word and some kind of othr hype going other than internet based advertising.
