Six Flags Great America?

So, I was trying to think of a unique place to do something at. And then it occurred to me, the place I work at during the summers! (I'm rides management) I'm not sure exactly what to do, since the park averages about 15,000 people a day during the summer, it needs to be either large scale, or fixed at a certain part of the park.

The other problem is that, depending what you do, people could just think it's entertainment (which is partially true, anything we do should be entertaining to others, but they'll pay less attention to it).

On the plus side, video taping would be easy, cameras are allowed in, and there's plenty of tourists that do video tape.

So, if anyone has any good ideas on something that could go on there, throw it out there. And if anyone has any questions on whether their idea is safe for us to do there or not, feel free to ask.

I have one for you, i guess next year would be best. On a website greatamericaparks.com, you can hear the old marrott era promo songs. I say we get a group to dress up from the 60-70, and have a huge gorup sing and dance to the song around the park, like an old TV ad for the park, set in the new modern park.

I think the easiest thing to work with would be a really long line for one of the roller coasters. I haven't been to 6 Flags in many years, but the wait in line, in the stifling heat, was one of the things that definitely stands out in my mind. If we could get a dozen or so agents in one of those lines we could do a couple of fun things to pass the time for everyone.

- We could first space people out pretty wide in line. One agent start singing, then another down the line picks it up, and then another further down. If it's catchy enough the whole line might get into it. If we really wanted to do something wild, we could make up a musical but there's no too much room to work with.
- I don't know if we could get enough people for this, but a chain-reaction event might work too if we lined everyone up in a row - similar to the event at the train station with people sneezing in a row then knocking each other down.


Some random ideas:
- If they still have the coin-operated boats, we could have someone dressed up like a gruff looking sailor command one of these for a while, yelling out sailing jargon.
- People get on a relatively wimpy ride ... like the carousel but pretend it's really intimidating.
- They're those guys who can write your name on a grain of rice, offer to write someone's name on a molecule of air ... or alternately on a peanut or something (for free). Have agents agree to it and see how many bystanders go for it as well.
