Update from Mark... Over 50 cards were received. Some were larger than the P.O. Box so the P.O. pulled them aside for him.
He got some great cards. Some of the more interesting ones were hand made, poked fun at him being bald and one said "Happy Birthday Princess." complete with a punch out Tiara.
Nice write up. Next time we attempt something like this, we just need to be careful not to actually type the name and address of the person. Maybe put that information in a jpg graphic and then upload / link to the graphic. Unless Google is so all-knowing it can read images as well now, we would be safe.
Today we made our very first mission: MP3 Experiment - Por Um Fio (in english:
By A Thread)
We created a 21 minutes MP3, and almost 30 participants joined in and followed the instructions, and danced to the music, just before the pangea day event took place all around the world.
It was our very first step in a world we admire, and it was very inspiring to hear someone in the end saying: This made me happy.
That is our main goal: Make others happy.
As soon as I have the photos and the movie. I'll post them here.
Mission: The Pied Piped. Location: Mill Ave, Tempe, AZ Agents: 23 Objective: Agents would be scattered up and down Mill Ave. One musically inclined agent will start playing and walking up the street (on the side walk.) As he passes other agents they fall in behind him “entranced by his music”. The goal is of course to get non-agents to follow him too. Outcome: Successful! The agents meet at a local restaurant near Mill Ave then proceded to Mill to wait for the piper to go by. We had 23 agents show up to this and had a few people follow us for a little while, but at the end we still had only the ones we started with. It was however very successful. We got a lot of really great reactions like people at the restaurants along mill stopping mid dinning and staring at us and whispering things like "what are they all doing" and "what's going on?" A few people along the route recognized the piper and say stuff like "don't listen" or "don't follow him, he'll lead you to drown." Some people started following along the path. We'd like to thank the agents who participated: Agent Michelle, Agent Lady M, Agent Empress Jane, Agent Propmaster5000, Agent Craft Queen, Agent Hello Kitty, Agent Bassman, Agent Mario, Agent Nomad, Agent Zoolander, Agent Sloppy Seconds, Agent Lain, Agent Zargon and very great thanks to our piper Agent No Face!
We did another freeze, this time downtown in the bar district. We were disappointed with the agent turnout, but it ended up turning out great. Everyone noticed and commented. A lot of people were excited to see a group doing the things the 'cool improve group in New York' does here in KC. Security didnt mess with us. All in all in was a great time!
