July 13th.... Slip And Slide

I am planning to do a slip and slide flash on one of the kitsilano streets. Either going down Arbutus (around 2nd) or mayb around yew. I live in the area, so over the next little while I'm going to find some supplies to 'practise'.

My vision is having around 20 people, more if there's interest, coming out of nowhere. The preplanning will dictate who is responsible for what, but several people will be there to stop traffic. Others will lay down some tarps. At this time someone will also be getting the water ready. Then we slide as we slip.

Hey, yeah this will suffer from a mild hiatus. This was originally to celebrate someone's birthday, but two things have come up. 1: There is a flash mob water fight the next day in Stanley Park. 2: Friend will be out of town. Ergh.

Thinking a weekend in August will be the new date. I'll definately post with more info at a later date.

It's on a friday, so I might have some trouble getting anywhere simply due to the fact that I take the bus everywhere, and I've only got a one-zone monthly pass. But I'm completely free on fridays, so I'll figure out a way to get there. Sounds awesome.
