UPDATE: Alright guys, we've decided that we're going to meet at Complexe Desjardins at the Ste-Catherine's exit at 12:15pm on Sunday June 8th. The actual even will take place at 12:30. Everyone needs to wear a blue shirt and a tie so that we can distinguish who's actually playing during the fight.

guys i am really sorry about not being able to make it today i was actually one of the most excited people for this event and i made sure that i have nothing on this day but its work .. on Friday they scheduled me for a training yesterday and today and it lasted all day both days i am really sorry again.. but i am definitely in for another day and i don't mind the 21 and this time definitely no work ....

Well it gave us to opportunity to plan it better, I'm getting good confirmations from friends for the next one, Just keep an eye on the Take II discussion, post your ideas there and we will make it a bigger and better event.

Which leads me to this : everyone in this discussion who intend to attend the "take II" please post in the 2nd discussion to show you will come so it doenst look like only 4 us are attending.

OK.. so we were 8 people today standing in front of Complex Desjardins waiting for everyone to come. Jared... where were you? People... where were you???????????????

We decided not to do it finally and reschedule to Saturday June 21st. Maybe we should get everything clear and well planned... I don't want to go there again for nothing!

We should definetly start like the commercial, everyone out of nowhere stand up and aim at each other for a short while. It will add some weirdness to the audience to see us tensed, pointing our fingers at each others.

When the fight starts, everyone should be alive to fight a bit more so we can pretend the first shots just wounded most of us.

I think that only a small fight were more and more "normal" people would join in could be more surprizing...

It's not a bad idea and yes, it probably would be more surprising. But we are the day before the event, and I don't think that we should change it last minute. We would have to message everyone that's coming on facebook for instance and it is uncertain if they would get the message or not. Plus, we as a group did not agree that it would be done that way.

Not to burst your bubble or anything, but I doubt that anyone who isn't part of this would actually just randomly join in. And even if they did, it would still be better to have the first 10 seconds with no one moving so that everyone who isn't participating has a pretty good idea of what's going. Then, if they still want to join in, they can start playing during the fight.

He's actually not talking about "outsiders" (people who are not part of the event) joining in as I initially thought . I think he is saying that we ought to pretend that we are seeing this as normal civillians and decide to join in.
