Recruiting for Tourist Mission (DC Defenestrators)

We will need 6-8 (plus) people to pull this off successfully. So far, I have 2 (if I include myself). I would rather be out adding to the distraction portion of the mission if it calls for it. We had Journey to the end of the night which wasn't fully an IE-based event, but it was advertised through IE and a lot of members made it out there.

Elizabeth Ody also organized the treasure hunt which happened recently and we have the convenience store yoga event coming up also. The Great DC Freeze is also coming up on July 5th.

I have some on deck that should be posted soon also, so keep checking, they should be coming up soon.

So, does one specific person oranize these things, or do we try to round people together ourselves. Seeing as how I am new here, it would be nice to partner with someone who has done some successful missions. Interested?

If you want to organize the blind tour groups it's a matter of finding someone with the van or bus (the bus would be harder) and posting the event. If you want to do something like the competing palm readers, you'd need to get at least a vendor license plus a go-ahead from the city to be in the spot you want to be in, plus you'd need to find people willing to dress like gypsies and bring tables and whatnot to the location you'll be at.

Just a warning - the more stuff people have to bring the greater chance the mission fizzles.
