hey can you give me an email adress or somthing else so i can find you on facebook so i can send you an invite to our improv group that we created on facebook
Jenna, the boardwalk would be great! I've been down to Seaside Heights and Atlantic City a bunck of times. It would be easy and wide open to the bit from the Japanese YouTube clip, a freeze, staring & pointing at the flying object no one can see, etc.! In somewhere as open as the boardwalks, we can do the Japanese bit,a freeze, disburse easily in 2 minutes tops...only to re-assemble later in the day! Outstanding! I'm getting a kick just thinking about it!
Where in NJ are you? I'm trying to get an idea of where is best to execute a mission.
Did I already ask you if you had a videocamera, or knew anyone who did? I'd love to get any events on video for posterity, YouTube and IE.
I'm in touch with an agent in Forest Hills (Queens), NY who wants to get a bunch of us together to do the last bit in this clip http://youtube.com/watch?v=Xo1R17Gq6dg .
It's simple, low tech, looks easy to do (I've never done anything like it, but I think it looks easy to do), and we can do it a few times in one day once we stake out locations!
One thing I know from the IE NY group: the people who run it don't want others doing events in the 5 boroughs on their own; they want the boros for themselves, so NJ is a good possibility.
I figure if we can get 130 people or so to say yes, and get 100 to show up, we're sitting pretty! I can pass the word out to friends, family, perhaps my school's mailing lists, maybe even recruit from Craig's List. Do you think you can get many interested?
My brother said the Tshirts can be done at any Kinko's but they cost about $15 - 20, which could be a deterrent unless agents don't mind laying out the $ they won't recover.
I know me brother has made T shirts from enlarged photos. I'll ask him how it is done, and we can see how feasible it is to make a bunch of them to sell autographed and at least make the money back.
