I live in Santa Clarita (waspy and repug), which is north of Los Angeles, but still in L.A. County. It's a pretty bland place, especially if you're an "old" radical ex-hippie who still questions authority.

I volunteer at Animal Acres (which is a farmed animal sanctuary), and I also help rescue all sorts of animals, and help find them safe, happy, healthy and forever homes. Spay and neuter!

This photo is of a rescue who, happy to say, very quickly found herself a perfect home. I'm the one wearing the turquoise sweater. She's the pretty one.
