- I've recently realized that I've been doing real-life improv and applied improv my whole life, and last year started a business (SparkNorthwest) in which improv practices and principles are at the heart.
I have done many crazy things, starting mostly in the mid-90s, that parallel ImprovEverywhere's missions, and am dying to connect with people in the NW who are game to do likewise (my toll free number, is 877-I-AM-GAME !)
I am relatively fearless for doing this in public, taking risks (if their is deep fun and/or something I consider important involved), love to improv act, sing, dance and even 'follow the spirit'.
In addition, I work with social media and consult with clients creating podcasts, live talk shows, and private Social Networking sites like this ning based one (I created the AppliedImprov Network which has about 150 members, you might want to join if you do improv professionally).

I like the idea though - electromagnetic waves and fire... transformation is borne on the wings of such inspiration.
I was thinking that Seattle's kind of far anyway. We haven't met. I contacted you because you were close and I'm most interested in creating life in my own community and making artivism a regular part of the day. You know, we can wake people up and help them to play on the way home from picking up the groceries, while waiting for the clothes to finish or the chicken to cook. Maybe then we could even slow time down and create space?
I have also found someone in Olympia. I like to start small and quicken change one person at a time. Wherever there are two or more gathered...
So here's to the lower Puget Sound! I hope I'll see ya in a few weeks.

That's like, "We'll meet where the fifth metacarpal meets the hamate bone in the creator's watery Puget hand, on the first day after the third full moon after the last solstice." You bring a cell phone and a laptop and I'll bring a bow drill kit to make fire by friction.
In regards to time - Thursday February 21 works for me, tho' I am partial to full moons. How about when the hunters are returning from the forest? Like around 5pm?
And space - I'm an Olympian; I'm more familiar with the Agora than downtown Seattle. You pick.

Gig Harbor is close to Olympia. Let's connect real people close to home in real time and space! Creativity and fearlessness are more important than large numbers. Like a homeopathic dose, great enthusiasm expands exponentially (like following the spirit).
Let's plan a time and place, post it here, and anywhere else we can think of, and just do it. It doesn't matter what; we can figure that out in the moment - that's what improv is.
